60th Birthday Card Templates

I made these two 60th birthday card SVG templates for you to make with your Cricut (or a similar cutting machine, or cut by hand) - there's two designs as I know that florals are always very popular and I really love the floral design I've created for my range of age cards, but I also know that florals aren't right for some recipients, often men...

So I also created a fun stars design for the age cards, that is a perfect celebratory unisex design for men and women and that you can make in whichever colours you choose, to get the right feel for your recipient!

Both cards have the same basic template - it's just the front design that's different on each.

• The cards are cut from flat cardstock on the standard Cricut mat (rather than the specialist card mat). 

• The card plus envelope will take three A4 or Letter-sized sheets of cardstock in total.

• The finished card will measure around 12 x 12 cm (approx. 4.75 x 4.75 inches) with an envelope that's a little larger.

• You will need to score the card and envelope to create the lines for folding. You can do this with your cutting machine if you have a scoring tool or manually if not - there's some help for how to set everything up in Cricut Design Space for your card and envelope here - you may also find it useful if you have another brand of cutting machine or intend to score manually too, so please do take a look.

Floral 60th card template

My floral 60th card template is in pink and white with a dark grey envelope - I wanted a pretty and feminine card, but I also wanted to choose a strong pink, so I picked this lovely dusky hue rather than a baby pink - see below...

My alternative colour idea for the floral card template is another pretty but strong colour choice - this lovely rich purple which I've used with a white inner card (for contrast) and a different shade of purple for the envelope - see below...

Both of these floral design cards are made using:

• Sizzix 'Surfacez' cardstock for the outer cards - cut using the 'Cardstock for intricate cuts' setting in Cricut Design Space

• Eastlight Premium white cardstock (160gsm) for the inner cards - cut using the 'Light cardstock' setting

• Dovecraft Colours Craft Paper (120gsm) for the envelopes - cut using the 'Copy paper' setting

My stars-design 60th birthday card template is in this lovely soft grey with a yellow inner card and orange envelope - see below...

Unisex 60th card template with stars design

I wanted to make it in a sophisticated neutral tone that was truly unisex and I think this lovely grey card with the warm yellow and orange does the job nicely - and you could happily send this to either a man or a woman.

My other colour idea was with a dark green card - and a bright yellow-green inner and orange-yellow envelope - see below - I think this is a brighter, fun idea for the stars card.

Of course, like all of my cards, please use these colour ideas just as inspiration and get creative with your own colour choices when you make your card!

Both of these stars design cards are made using:

• Sizzix 'Surfacez' cardstock for the outer cards - cut using the 'Cardstock for intricate cuts' setting in Cricut Design Space

• Craft Sensations 'Ombre' cardstock for the inner card and envelope for the green card - cut using the 'Medium cardstock' setting - this has a gradient 'ombre' colour shift and a different colour on each side (with a white core to the paper) so you can get some interesting effects

• Craft Sensations Design Pad 'Pastels' cardstock for the inner card and envelope for the grey card - cut using the 'Medium cardstock' setting - this has a different colour on each side of the cardstock (and a white core) so you can have a different colour envelope interior to exterior and inside of the card to design showing through on the front. Fun!
