I designed two 70th card templates for you - one has a more feminine feel with lots of flowers, and the other is a unisex design with stars which could be used for men or women...
Both cards have the same basic template, which you can see above - it's just the front design that's different for each.
The cards are easy to make, using the same process as the other cards in my main greeting card template page here - the cards:
When I design a card, I like to try it out in a couple of different colour ideas, so that I can have a bit of fun with the colours and hopefully inspire you to get creative and give you ideas for your own colour choices...
So that's what I've done with these 70th birthday card templates, too - I'll share the photos below, so that you can see the colours and take a closer look at the cards, as well - and I'll also share which cardstocks I've used for each, in case you find that helpful, too...
I decided to make my floral 70th card template in pretty floral colours - but I wanted to keep them fun and young at heart, too, since these days 70 isn't so very old!
The template for my floral 70 card is the pink and green card with a yellow envelope - see below...
For the inner card of this card, I've used an 'ombre' effect card with a gradient between lime green and jade green - you can just see the different greens peeking through between the top of the card and the bottom of the card - I think this gives quite an interesting effect.
On this particular card, the inside of the card is a soft pinky-purple, as the ombre cardstock has a different colour on each side - but it needn't be like this if you prefer not to, or don't have this particular cardstock (I'll share it below)...
I think the pink and green give a modern, floral, and almost tropical look - and the lemon-yellow card keeps it zingy for a youthful feel!
My alternative colour idea for this card is a soft lemon yellow with an inner card of mauve and a pink envelope - the colours of the inner card and envelope are close together but there's a little more difference than it shows in the photo - the envelope is slightly more pink than the inner card...
The yellow and mauve/lilac is quite a strong colour contrast, so I thought keeping it simple with a similar envelope was a good idea. Again, I think it's a pretty colour choice, a bit unusual, but sings out 'young at heart' to me!
For both floral cards, I used:

For the stars design 70th birthday card SVG template, I wanted it to be a unisex design. I've chosen quite traditionally masculine colours for the template and alternative, but please know that this card can be made in feminine colours just as easily...
I just figured that since I'd just done two feminine colour ideas, it's better to stick to the more traditionally masculine colour ideas for this unisex stars card template, so that you get plenty of colour ideas for each!
The template itself is in the brown tones that you can see in the photo below...
I love bright, colourful cards, but something about these warm neutrals and very earthy, natural tones really appealed for this card - it feels like a masculine study or an old-fashioned smoking den - all leather, and wood, and whisky! Quite a sophisticated colour idea for a mellow gent!
My other colour idea is using blues and greens - see below - the main green is quite soft and gentle but I've used a darker blue for the inner card for contrast and a brighter blue for the envelope.
I used a double-sided coloured cardstock for the blue, so you can see the inner of the envelope is the same darker blue as the inner card showing through the cut-outs. When someone opens the card, they'll see the brighter blue of the envelope on the inner of the card, too!
I'll share the cardstock in the list of materials I used below - it's a 12 x 12 inches (30 x 30 cm) sheet which can cut both the envelope and inner card from one sheet (you can change the colours in Cricut Design Space to be the same so they cut together from one sheet if you want to do this too).
For both stars cards, I used:
