Bird Art Prints

Print Friendly and PDF

Beautiful bird art prints by Lotti Brown...

Here is a selection of my favourite bird art prints from my artworks.

I live in Yorkshire in Britain, so you'll notice that my bird art focuses on British wild and garden birds, which I love to watch either in my garden or in the fields around where I live.

Many of the artworks are created from birds that I've actually seen in my garden or out on my travels, as I find that this holds a more personal resonance for me when creating. Maybe you've seen the same types of birds, too?

I create my artwork from a combination of traditional and digital techniques - but all hand-made by me

I use watercolour and/or markers, coloured pencils and pens to create an artwork initially, then I scan it in, and use Adobe Illustrator to put different elements together (birds, foliage, flowers, etc) and create a final artwork ready to create as an art print, and to print onto throw pillows, T-shirts, mugs, blankets, and lots more...

I love the way the little chaffinches are perched in the cherry blossom in this artwork - especially the pretty pink colours - all against that sumptuous purple background. Inspired by chaffinches in my garden. Click here for it in my Redbubble store...

I don't often get to see curlews, although we do sometimes hear them flying over, so I was thrilled to see one from the car in a field a few years ago. I concentrated on making the most of those beautiful browns with a lovely background made from working with inks on fabric. Click here to see my curlew art in my Redbubble store...

I love these chatty gannets, inspired by sea birds at Bempton Cliffs (Yorkshire). They look like they've just been caught in the middle of a real gossipy session! Click here to see my gannets at Redbubble...

Just like the gannets, these puffins were inspired by the sea bird colonies on the cliffs at Bempton in Yorkshire. So colourful and exotic-looking, puffins are just an amazing and unusual bird that we need to celebrate! Click here to pop by my puffins in my Redbubble store...

One of my all-time favourites, and definitely one of my most popular artworks - I've been lucky enough to see a kingfisher a few times locally, and more recently several times on holiday in Scotland. An artwork can't really do justice to how wonderfully shiny and shimmery kingfishers are in real life - but I love this one anyway. You can see it in my Redbubble store here...

I was inspired by a beautiful raven perching in apple blossom at Glastonbury Abbey to create this work. I love the contrast between the pretty, light flowers, and the darkness of the raven. Meet the raven in my Redbubble store here...

The inspiration for these adorable little Reed Buntings are the ones I used to see on my daily dog walk along the side of a ditch. I would be accompanied by a pair of Reed Buntings flitting along from stem to stem virtually the length of the ditch. So I've drawn them in the reeds on a cold wintery day, just as I remember watching them. Flit by to meet my Reed Buntings in my Redbubble store here...

One of my favourite things about where I live in Yorkshire is going out into the big flat fields and hearing the skylarks singing high overhead. They always surprise me when they come down to perch on the stem of a plant in the field or verge, with their punky little hairstyle! Sing with my skylark over in my Redbubble store here...

The little sparrows perched in the plum tree in my own garden were the inspiration for this bird art print. They're so often there and I just love to watch them. If you love watching little sparrows too, check these out in my Redbubble store here...

The two big woodpigeons who live in our back garden inspired me to create this artwork. I've got very fond of them over the years watching them nearly every day. Have you got your own pair of woodpigeons in your garden too? Have a look at mine over in my Redbubble store here...

In the summer, I love to see the swallows swooping low over the fields of wheat and barley. Some years we even have poppies in the fields, certainly in the field verges - so this swallows bird art print is a celebration of the swallows in the summer skies over fields of poppies and cereal crops - see it in my Redbubble store here...

Here's a sight I wish I had seen - I always hope that one winter some waxwings will visit the rowan trees just across the road - no luck so far, but I made my own! Check it out in my Redbubble store here...

This Wrens and Acer artwork was created after spotting a little wren amongst the autumn acer leaves in my garden - so sweet and I tried to get amazing autumn colours in this one - if you love it too you can get prints and more from my Redbubble store here...

This is one of my very earliest digital artworks (all created from all my own pen and marker drawings) and celebrates catching a glimpse of a little wren amongst grasses and foliage (physalis) in winter - an oldie but a goodie! Get the wren bird art print and other product in my Redbubble store here...

Here's a beautiful bird that we often hear calling in the night (sometimes from our own rooftop) but rarely see - the gorgeous tawny owl. Check out the tawny owl prints and more in my Redbubble store here...

If there's one bird that's nearly always around in the fields near here, it's the pheasant. So beautiful with shimmering colours in his feathers. This one has such a funny, quirky expression - check him out in my Redbubble store here...

Here's a little bird that we don't see so many of recently, although there is a pair who scuttle around the fields and hedgerows. Instantly recognizable by the way they run - this is a cute red-legged partridge, that I've put under a hawthorn bush so he's got something nice to peck in winter. Check out my partridge art prints and more in my Redbubble store here...
