The inspiration for these adorable little Reed Buntings are the ones I used to see on my daily dog walk along the side of a ditch. I would be accompanied by a pair of Reed Buntings flitting along from stem to stem virtually the length of the ditch. One of my favourite things about where I live in Yorkshire is going out into the big flat fields and hearing the skylarks singing high overhead.
