I made this pretty boxing hares birthday card for Cricut and other cutting machines for you from a design that I made for my friend...
I wanted to make a pretty card on a wildlife theme so I used an idea of these two boxing hares (or maybe dancing hares?) surrounded by flowers with a Happy Birthday message.
The card is easy to make from three sheets of A4 or Letter-sized cardstock using the standard Cricut sticky mat (not the specialist card mat).
You will need to set the score lines to score using Cricut Design Space or your own cutting machine. You can also score by hand using a blunt point like a knitting needle, if you prefer - if you do this, please delete the score lines in your cutting machine program before you send the project to cut.
I have full instructions for how to set the score lines in Cricut Design Space on my page here - I think the page may also be useful to you even if you're using another type of cutting machine as it will help you understand the steps that need taking to get everything set up correctly. There's also some help on that page with scoring manually and choosing a scoring tool for your Cricut.
Once your card is cut and scored, I have a craft tutorial to help you fold and assemble the card here...
The finished card is around 12 x 12 cm (approx. 4.75 x 4.75 inches) with the envelope a little larger (with the SVG used as-is in Cricut Design Space).
I made the boxing hares card template this pretty pink with a white inner card and peach/apricot envelope - I think it looks feminine and contemporary - see my photo just below...
I also like to make an alternative colour idea for my papercut cards - the alternative colour idea for my boxing hares card is this lovely teal with a white inner card and the same peach/apricot envelope - see my photo below...
For both of the card ideas on this page, I've used my Cricut Maker and:
