It's easy to print at home on your home printer! Just...

• Choose your card size - 5 x 7 inch and 4 x 6 inch card templates are both included in your download

• Select your paper size - A4 and US-Letter size PDFs are both included

• Print off your card at 'high quality' or 'best quality' on good quality cardstock

• Trim the edges with a guillotine, craft knife or scissors

• Fold down the guideline in the centre of the card (a hard edge like a metal rule can help with getting a neat fold)

• Print your envelope on paper, trim, fold and glue - or use a standard size envelope you might already have

• Your printable Easter card is now ready to write and send!

For the best results in printing your card try to:

• Print at 'Actual Size' or at 100%

• Turn ON 'Borderless Print' (if you have this option)

• Always use 'Best Quality' or 'High Quality' print

• Use a good quality cardstock - more on this just below...

The cards on this page are printed on a glossy photo paper. I've also had really good results with a matt photo paper. One thing to be careful of, though, is that some photo papers (particularly well-known brands) will have their brand name printed all over the reverse of the card which is okay for a photo you just want to print and keep but less good if you want to use it for a card and write on the inside! Look out for photo paper intended for crafters which I've found is better for this issue (if you're in the UK try Photo Paper Direct)!

If you're using a photo paper, there might be a setting on your print set-up for printing onto plain paper or photo paper. I tried both on this set of cards and discovered that the printer prints the photo paper more saturated so the colours come out darker. You can see this below on these Easter bunny cards...

So you can see that the 'plain paper' setting on the left has come out paler and softer than the one on 'photo paper' setting on the right (same glossy photo paper). You might prefer one look than the other, but it's just something to be aware of and try out for your own printer.
