I made this pretty wife card SVG template to be used for birthdays, anniversaries, or Valentine's Day - or any other occasions where you want to show your love and support to your 'Wonderful Wife'...
Show your lovely wife that you think she's wonderful!
My wife card template is easy to make - it follows the same process and basic design as the other cards on this page - so it shares the same basic instructions.
The card is a 'cut & score' project - which means that we need to score the lines in the cardstock, ready for folding, as well as cutting the design on your cutting machine. If you don't have the appropriate scoring tool for your machine, or if you prefer not to, you can also score by hand if you wish...
I've got help for all that here - choosing a scoring tool, scoring by hand, and setting up the file to score correctly in Cricut Design Space - you may also find it helpful, even if you're setting things up in another type of cutting machine - read more and find out all about it here...
The card template:
Once you've cut the card, I have a craft tutorial here that will help you to fold and assemble the card and envelope.
I made two different colour card ideas for the 'Wonderful Wife' card template to inspire you with your creation...
The template is based on this very pretty colour combination with pretty pink and lilac with a cream/white inner card (see below)...
I actually think this very pretty pink is the perfect colour choice for your 'Wonderful Wife' card - pink is the colour of tenderness and love, very soft and gentle, ideal to show your love to your wife!
The cream inner card allows the design to show well and does not overpower the pink - I chose a soft lilac envelope but actually, I think any soft pastel colour envelope would look just as nice!
My other colour choice for the card is also a pretty lilac which you can see below...
I love this really pretty lilac and think it looks lovely paired up with the really buttery cream inner card (it's kind of a cream or soft yellow colour) and the soft green envelope.
Once again, any pastel colours will look pretty for your handmade wife card - if your wife is more into bright colours, or more into soft neutrals, go with that, as you will know her tastes and preferences and what she'd like.
For Valentine's Day, stick with reds, whites, and pinks to get the expected look and feel for your Valentine!!
Both of these cards have been made with my Cricut Maker and:
